The Blied Building is a three-story apartment building that was built in 1907 in Madison Wisconsin's historic Mansion Hill District. The client wanted to restore the property to its original integrity, while upgrading the apartments to include all of today's modern conveniences.
Brownhouse faced many challenges in this renovation due to the historic sensitivity of the building and its neighborhood. The project entailed a comprehensive interior redevelopment including newly designed floor plans, new HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and a new modern array of interior finish selections.
